Urban Solutions Architects are highly experienced residential architects located in Ashgrove, Brisbane.
We specialise in renovations, new homes and small lot homes especially those requiring planning approval in Brisbane's character suburbs. We are also multi-residential experts with experience in both townhouse & apartment design. Like most architects, we offer a full range of architectural services including pre-purchase inspections, design, documentation & contract administration.
What makes us different is what we don't do.
We don't start the design process until we are satisfied that the Project is both practically and financially viable. That is why we start all projects with a stand-alone pre-design Project Definition service. We start with some basic on-line research and an on-site Needs & Options review to ensure we understand your brief and to provide advice on planning & building regulations that will apply to your project and how they will influence the design.

The Needs and Options review is followed by a concept design phase which we refer to as a Reality Check.
During the Reality Check, we conduct a concept design workshop to generate design options and undertake a feasibility analysis of the project. The Reality Check ensures that the brief and budget are compatible and builds the foundation for a successful project.
At the end of the process, you will have a completed Design Brief with all the necessary site data, project goals, spatial requirements, inspirational style cues and costed concept designs to guide the design process. We can then provide tailored fee proposal including a Project Plan setting out the steps required to complete your project and achieve your project goals. Only then can we start the process of designing your Dream Home and turning into reality.
